Telling Stories.
Watching Movies.
Making Friends.
Laredo's nonprofit microcinema, open since 2021. We screen films you won't find at the multiplex and help border storytellers make work of their own.

Film Fest
Presented by Laredo Film Society, Fronterror Film Fest is our annual horror festival in Laredo, Texas, celebrating the emerging filmmakers transforming the Texas-Mexico borderlands into one of horror's most exciting new frontiers!
We value community and growth, so we’ve designed our programming to help brings skills and resources to our city.
What We Offer
-
Hands-on classes taught by people who do this for a living. Camera, sound, editing, screenwriting— we host it all!
We try to keep these workshops low-cost, and they're built for first-timers as much as for working crew.
-
We keep a small kit available for local productions — including a Sony FX30 — at rates built for a Laredo budget.
The microcinema is bookable too: private screenings, premieres, cast-and-crew nights, or anything else you've got in mind.
-
Bring us something unfinished. Submit a work-in-progress and our panel watches it, then sits down with you to talk through what's landing and what isn't.
It's the kind of feedback most filmmakers have to leave town to get.
